The Allianz Riviera Stadium, designed down to the smallest detail to minimize its environmental impact, is an example of energy efficient construction. It serves as a true model of eco-design and eco-construction, incorporating innovative technologies, making it one of the world's first eco-friendly stadiums.

The Allianz Riviera is the first stadium in the world to feature a wooden lattice framework of this scale. This innovative construction, which combines wood and metal, resulted in a savings of 3,000 tons of carbon during manufacturing compared to a traditional structure.
